Sky Medical Center Expands Through Acquisition of Aviation Medical Center's Aviation Medical Examinations
Eindhoven, October 20, 2026 – Sky Medical Center is acquiring the medical examination operations of Aviation Medical Center. Starting November 1, all aviation medical examinations for both organizations will be conducted by Sky Medical Center. With this acquisition, Sky Medical Center will grow to four locations in the Netherlands and further expand its services.
This merger will increase the capacity for aviation medical examinations in the Netherlands. For pilots, flight attendants, and air traffic controllers, this means shorter wait times and improved nationwide accessibility. The services provided by Aviation Medical Center will continue under Sky Medical Center.
Increased Capacity and Improved Services
At the same time, we’re using this opportunity to streamline our processes. This will make it easier for customers to schedule appointments and better prepare for their inspections, and it will give our staff more time to provide genuine, personalized attention.
Sky Medical Center also plans to further expand its team of medical examiners. “We’re always interested in experienced AMEs as well as doctors who are considering becoming AMEs. We’d love to introduce them to our field and our team,” said Buijs-Peters.
