Class 1 pilot inspection at Eindhoven Airport
The Sky Medical Center is located at Eindhoven Airport, where airline pilots are examined daily. The Class 1 pilot examination always starts with an explanation and filling out an application form. Then you will receive an extensive medical examination. The EASA pilot examination includes a blood pressure measurement, a weight and height determination, a urinalysis, a lens measurement and a general physical examination. Depending on your age and medical history, additional tests such as audiometry, ECG and spirometry may be required.
Medical Statement
If your medical tests are within the specified limits, you will be approved and walk right out of our office with a Medical Certificate. The certificate for a Class 1 pilot examination is usually valid for 12 months. If you are 60 or older, the certificate is valid for 6 months.
