Pilot medical by an Aeromedical Examiner

All pilots must be medically examined before they may fly an aircraft. Thanks to our qualified Aeromedical Examiner, our medical centre carries out EASA and FAA aeromedical examinations. The pilot medical consists of a consultation with the Aeromedical Examiner, completing an application form and various health checks, including:

  • Measuring your height and weight
  • Measuring your blood pressure
  • A urine test
  • Measuring your haemoglobin level
  • A general physical examination

Depending on your medical history and age, additional tests may be needed, such as an ECG or audiometry. You will be told about this on the spot.
